Lake Buena Vista

This was a view of  part of the lake (Lake Buena vista) near my hotel in the early hours of the day. the dark shadow on the right is due to the sun being quite low and the shadow cast by the hotel. the hotel was about 20 stories in the sky.

Beyond the hotel across the lake (Buena vista Palace Hotel) is where the Walt disney parks are. Quite a distance so can't see anything with this camera. a good zoom might get park of one.

Stunning shot, Wale. My only niggle is that the expanse of trees at the bottom overwhelm this shot just a tad bit and distract from the lovely hotel (and its reflection) which make this picure. I would love to see what this picture would look like if you crop out about a third of the bottom (leaving only some of the trees in the frame) - i think it will do loads for the composition. Well done!
wailor: Thanks for that. I tried a shot with a tighter crop by zooming in but on my little camera, it didn't quite do it. I'll probably put it up to view. Then thinking about cropping this one, do you think it would stioll have the same effect if it was more squarelike?

The reflection is definitely what makes this, Wale. It's also fun to see how expansive this area is. I have never been there!

wailor: Thanks!! You should visit there some time. You won't regret it. Take a lot of cash though. You'll want to go to all the theme parks and the other attreactions, and there are a LOT of attractions!!
